We are recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer to provide maintenance and small works services to commercial and industrial facilities across the North of England within a well respected and established Building Services company. The role is a permanent position paying up to 44k basic with additional benefits including an annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, sick pay scheme, pension with 6% company contribution, death in service x3 salary, company vehicle and fuel card (personal use allowed), and various allowances. Overtime, door to door payments and overtime paid at premium. Travel time paid at respective overtime rates. On-call payment of £250 for an approximate 40 hours per week, with flexible start/finish times.
Reporting to the Service Manager you will play a crucial role in joining the skilled mobile engineering team. You will be initiative-taking, motivated, ambitious, and capable of working on your own or as part of a team. A continual training program will be provided to meet current health and safety requirements and for individual development.
The work involves servicing, fault finding, repairs, and installing various types of gas burners (forced draught/package and atmospheric on indirect and direct appliances), gas pipework, and associated gas equipment/controls.
