Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of commercial and property claims, including business interruption.
  • Experience using data to identify and report fraudulent activity.
  • Familiarity with current case law and legal liabilities relevant to insurance.
  • Ability to identify and preserve evidence through interviews.
  • Understanding of FCA guidelines and GDPR.
  • Skilled in negotiating settlements effectively.
  • Capable of managing multiple investigations and tasks.
  • Competent in preparing clear reports with recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial claims flagged as potentially fraudulent.
  • Conduct telephone and video interviews, and gather evidence.
  • Liaise with policyholders, contractors, and external agencies.
  • Prepare detailed reports with clear recommendations for insurers.
  • Issue outcome letters and negotiate settlements.
