About the Role

As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations while providing strategic support to senior management. You will deliver accurate reporting, ensure financial control, and act as a business partner to operations and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end processes, producing management accounts and board packs.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance analysis.
• Support operational decision-making with financial insight and cost analysis.
• Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and efficiency initiatives.

About You

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
• Proven track record as a Commercial Finance Manager, or a strong Finance Business Partner ready to step up.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector or similar product-based industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Commercially minded, analytical, and able to communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
• Proficient with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills.
