Commercial Executive (Maternity Cover)

Location: Peterborough. Reporting to Telematics Manager.

The role

This is a hands on Commercial Executive role within the Commercial Team, supporting the Marmalade Learner and Telematics propositions. You will work across governance, analysis, strategic projects and third party relationship management, giving you broad exposure to how a modern insurance and telematics business really works. You will be someone who enjoys detail, asks the right questions, and is not afraid to roll their sleeves up. This role suits someone early in their commercial career who wants real responsibility rather than just updating spreadsheets and sitting in meetings pretending to listen.

What you will be doing
  • Support the Telematics team across day to day commercial activity and longer term strategic initiatives, working closely with internal teams across the business and maintain effective operational relationships with external Telematics Service Providers.
  • Producing regular, insightful reporting across your areas of responsibility.
  • Analysing competitor activity, product positioning and aggregator performance.
  • Supporting product and process improvements across telematics propositions.
  • Managing internal and external queries with confidence and clarity.
  • Supporting the management of telematics risk events in line with governance frameworks.
  • Assisting with key strategic projects that support the growth of the Marmalade brand.
  • Build strong working relationships with telematics partners.
  • Engage regularly with internal stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
  • Help identify and communicate ideas for operational and propositional improvement.
  • Support the development of effective communication processes internally and externally.
  • Carry out regular competitor and market benchmarking.
  • Support the implementation of commercial changes aligned to the business plan.
  • Produce and analyse management information on commercial activity.
  • You will ensure all statutory and regulatory obligations are met within your areas of responsibility and work in line with FCA and internal governance requirements.
Essential experience and skills
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data

  • Knowledge of telematics products such as WiseDriving or Marmalade is highly beneficial
