Commercial Disputes Lawyer - London

A leading international law firm is looking to recruit a commercial litigation associate (circa 2–4 PQE) to join its London disputes practice. This is a strong opportunity for an associate seeking exposure to high-value, complex commercial litigation within a high-calibre, internationally integrated team.

The role will involve working on significant commercial disputes before the English High Court and appellate courts, often with a cross-border element. Matters typically include contractual and corporate disputes, shareholder and investment-related claims, contentious M&A and joint venture disputes, and other strategically important commercial litigation. Work is frequently coordinated with parallel proceedings in other jurisdictions, offering broad international exposure.

The London disputes team operates with a lean, partner-led structure, meaning associates are given meaningful responsibility at an early stage. The successful candidate can expect to be closely involved in case strategy, to draft substantive pleadings and key court documents, and to have direct exposure to clients and counsel, rather than working in large, heavily layered teams.
