Commercial Coordinator

Location: Viables, Basingstoke

Salary: Up to £35,000 PA

Hours: Mon-Thurs 09:00-17:00, Fri 09:00-16:00 (30-min lunch daily)

The Best Connection in Basingstoke are recruiting for a Commercial Coordinator for one of our clients based in Basingstoke. Where you'll support end-to-end sales operations-from customer queries and quotations to order-to-cash processing and forecasting. You will collaborate with internal teams (sales, supply chain, regulatory, finance) and external partners to streamline commercial activity, drive efficiency, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer queries, quotations, and order administration using SAP
  • Coordinate credit applications and manage payment terms
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with sales, finance, and legal policies
  • Manage import/export logistics documentation, liaising with freight forwarders and customs agents
  • Uphold customer engagement and support key accounts
  • Collaborate across departments to drive commercial objectives
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in commercial or customer service roles-ideally within logistics, or supply chain
  • Proficient with CRM/ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of the full sales-to-cash cycle and international trade documentation
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills, and a proactive attitude
