Overview

Commercial Contracts Solicitor, 5+ Years PQE, Newcastle upon Tyne, up to c£85,000 (DOE) - This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and commercially minded lawyer to handle high-quality work, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth and direction of a dynamic team. JOB REF:0627.

Responsibilities
  • Advise on a broad range of commercial agreements, with particular exposure to the tech and digital sectors.
  • Manage a varied commercial contracts caseload, including manufacturing and supply contracts, distribution and agency agreements, franchising and business terms and conditions, outsourcing and tech-related M&A and investment deals, research and development contracts, and joint ventures.
  • Take ownership of client relationships, offering first-class legal and strategic advice.
  • Actively contribute to business development efforts across the Commercial Team and the wider firm.
Skills Required
  • Applications are sought from Commercial Contracts Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years' PQE, ideally with experience in technology-focused contracts.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically.
  • A strong client service ethic, with a track record of independent client handling.
  • The ambition to grow with the firm and play an active part in its long-term success.
  • The ability to manage complex caseloads and projects efficiently.
  • Experience of working both independently and within a team.
  • A proactive approach to business development and networking.
