Overview

Commercial Contracts Solicitor, 7+ PQE – Birmingham – We’re seeking an experienced commercial solicitor to join a thriving Birmingham team, working on a wide variety of high-value and complex commercial matters. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior role within a growing team, with the chance to lead on major transactions, supervise junior lawyers, and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.

Responsibilities
  • Advising a broad range of clients on commercial matters including complex commercial contracts and high-value supply and purchasing arrangements as well as agency and distribution agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing and data protection matters.
  • Work on multi-jurisdictional transactions and collaborate with the lead partner, taking a senior role within the Birmingham team.
  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers, lead on complex matters, and contribute to business development.
Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in commercial and/or technology law.
  • Technically excellent with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Confident leading on transactions and managing client relationships.
  • Collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
  • Commercially minded and enthusiastic about business development; ambitious with partnership prospects.
