Overview

A Commercial Manager with several years' experience bidding in a Technical Service environment (Defence/ MOD) will take on a customer facing role, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid lifecycle process.

The successful Commercial Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where you'll focus on Defence and Security, working primarily with the MOD.

Qualifications
  • A Degree qualification ideally in a technical discipline.
  • Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding.
  • Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence.
  • Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents.
  • Experience of client contact.
