Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the supplier and contract register for governance.
  • Manage supplier price and contract changes proactively.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding invoice and contract queries.
  • Prepare product briefs under the guidance of the commercial manager.
  • Ensure data consistency in collaboration with the data analyst.
  • Place adhoc purchase orders when appropriate.
  • Maintain a business change register with IT coordination.
  • Attend project meetings and assist with adhoc duties.

Commercial Administrator

Up to £30,000 per annum. Plus, up to £2,400 per year in tips (paid weekly, based on last year’s earnings). Permanent Contract 40hr week.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑oriented Commercial Administrator to support the commercial functions of the business. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate data management, effective communication, and smooth day‑to‑day commercial administration.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the supplier and contract register, ensuring governance and planning ahead for an agreed rolling cycle of activity that enables commercial benefit.
  • Proactively manage supplier price and contract changes via a clear calendar of events (Tender calendar). Coordinating the activity undertaken by the data analyst which will evaluate impact of proposed changes to put forward proposals to commercial manager to review.
  • Liaising with suppliers and outsourced providers over invoice/contract queries in line with agreed KPI’s & SLA’s set by HOT/Contacts.
  • Preparing briefs for new products under the guidance of the commercial manager and operations. Identify potential solutions for the commercial manager to review and agree.
  • Working closely with the data analyst to ensure data consistency, providing a clear brief and expectation to suppliers to enhance data quality.
  • Placing adhoc purchase orders when appropriate.
  • Working alongside the commercial manager & IT Coordinator, maintain a business change register, log change requirements, priorities, timescales and coordinate stakeholder meetings.
  • Prepare project briefs for business change projects, attend project meetings with the commercial manager keeping risk registers and progress logs up to date.
  • Assisting the Commercial Manager with any adhoc duties.
