Job Description:

A highly regarded independent Commercial Broker is currently looking to add remote Commercial Account Handlers to their teams, supporting both new business and renewals. They seek driven professionals with commercial insurance experience to serve a diverse client base.

The Account Handler will assist the Account Executive with managing client portfolios, including contract renewals, and will be the first point of contact for external queries.

This is a remote position with occasional office visits.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality, efficient service to clients.
  • Collaborating with Account Executives to deliver comprehensive insurance services.
  • Handling clients of various sizes, from small to large risks.
  • Ensuring documentation for insurance placements, amendments, or renewals is accurate and timely.
  • Promoting professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience in commercial insurance account handling with relevant technical knowledge.
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience with Acturis software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and process large amounts of information.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Interest in pursuing CII qualifications is a plus.
