Commercial Account Handler (Mid-Market Risks) – Leeds City Centre / Hybrid

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful commercial insurance brokerage conveniently located in Leeds City Centre. The role has been created due the business consistently achieving high levels of growth. Currently they operate on a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home basis.

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be joining a great team, supporting a national network of account executives, dealing predominately with mid-market commercial insurance clients, typically with annual premium spends of up to £250k and across all commercial sectors.

In this role, you will work closely with the Account Executives, assisting them on new business cases, compiling submissions, making amendments to existing policies, marketing and negotiating renewals etc. You will be speaking to clients and insurers on a daily basis, using Acturis to keep the systems updated and working with accuracy and attention to detail.

Ideal applicants will have a minimum of 2 years commercial insurance experience, with a good all round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance, previous use of Acturis , and making progress towards CII qualification, which will be fully supported.
