Lawes is assisting a well-regarded insurance brokerage in the search for a Commercial Account Handler. This is a key position focused on servicing an established client book, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the commercial portfolio. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service while identifying opportunities to enhance client value and retention.

Responsibilities
  • Managing current book of clients
  • Maximising relationships and client contact
  • Handling new business enquiries
  • Managing claims, MTA’s, and general client/insurer admin
  • Maintaining existing and creating new Insurer relationships
  • Trading and negotiating to secure the best terms for clients
Day-to-Day
  • Engage with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to ensure efficient handling of client requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers to secure favorable terms for clients
  • Proactively identify opportunities for business growth and development
  • Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to provide informed advice to clients
Experience
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
