College Nurse - Specialist Education Setting

Location: Billingshurst, West Sussex

Salary: £35,373 - £45,123 per annum

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of students, developing and delivering personalised healthcare plans
• Maintain accurate nursing records and oversee medicines management
• Liaise with parents, guardians, healthcare professionals, and education staff
• Provide clinical guidance and training to college staff
• Respond to medical emergencies and support safeguarding compliance
• Coordinate clinics and specialist visits
• Support student assessments to ensure healthcare needs can be met

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with current NMC registration
• Experience working with young people or individuals with complex needs preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and delivering high-quality care
