About the Role

We are looking for a CNC Turner / Miller to join a growing precision engineering team based in Thetford. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in CNC machining, whether you’re early in your career or a highly skilled professional.

You will work with Mazak CNC lathes and milling machines, producing high-quality components to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set Mazak CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components to exact tolerances.
• Carry out programming, setting, and operating duties as required (support and training available for those developing skills).
• Conduct quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Ensure machines are well-maintained and safe to operate.
• Collaborate with the wider team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in CNC machining (essential).
• Familiarity with Mazak machines is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
