Qualifications

• Skilled CNC Machinist with experience on Fanuc or Mazatrol.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
• Ability to train others and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC lathe machines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOP).

Skills

Programming Siemens/Mazak Lathe machines

Reading drawings in imperial and metric sizes

Understanding tolerances and surface finishes

Using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges)

Selecting turning insert styles and grades

Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking for a CNC Turner to join them on a permanent basis.

The Job you’ll do

• Ability to program, set and operate Siemens/Mazak Lathe machines.

• Reading drawings in imperial and metric sizes.

• Understanding tolerances, geometric tolerances and surface finishes.

• Ability to use measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges.

• Be familiar with selecting the correct turning insert styles and grades for a range of materials.

About You

• Have a can-do attitude and work well with others in a team environment

• Ideally a skilled CNC Machinist with previous experience on Fanuc or Mazatrol.

• Willing to work overtime when required to suit customer requirements.

• Flexible – willing to be training in other machining processes.

• Capable of passing on knowledge and training others.

• Follow SOP.
