Overview

Role: CNC Technician - Mazak Multitasking Lathe Integrex (Weekend Shift)

Contract Type: Contract / Permanent - March start date

Location: Leamington Spa

Role ID: 2025

Salary: £23.29 per hour (inclusive of 30% weekend shift premium). This will increase to 2026 rate for March start date.

The Role

A Friday, Saturday, Sunday shift - 12 hour shifts, commencing March 2026.

We are looking for an experienced and quality conscious CNC Machinist to join our CNC Multitasking lathe team within our motorsport division. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is key as our customer requirements are as fast as the vehicles the components end up in. With a keen eye for detail you will be part of a highly skilled and dedicated team that are involved in the design and development of high quality transmission components mainly for the motorsport and aerospace industries, Although programming experience is not essential a very strong knowledge of ISO & Mazatrol CNC controllers is very important (you will be supported by a dedicated off-line programming team using Edgecam & Delcam).

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Trackable work experience within a precision machine shop using Mazak Integrex Multi Axis CNC Turning Centres.
  • Experience of working on i-200-ST Multi Axis Machining centre would be beneficial.
  • Be able to set machine tools to complete parts from a route card to the highest quality using ISO and/or Mazatrol.
  • Experience of Inspecting your own work to drawing.
  • Be able to read and understand programmes, to edit programmes and alter speeds and feeds if required.
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of turning tips and milling cutters.
  • Must be vigilant and diligent, with a good attention to detail, and able to maintain high standards of work.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) in order to liaise with colleagues.
  • Use of literacy skills to complete route cards, records, etc.
  • Offer flexibilitywithin the team covering other shifts and working overtime as required.
