Salary: £32,000 - £42,500 (depending on experience)

Overview

You\'ll be at the heart of our machine shop operations—programming, setting, and operating a variety of CNC 3, 4 & 5 axis machining centres (Fanuc & Hurco). Reporting to the Day Shift Supervisor, you\'ll ensure that production targets are consistently met, quality standards are maintained, and the team works smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC 3, 4 & 5 axis machining centres (Fanuc & Hurco).
• Work with the Day Shift Supervisor to meet production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensure safe, smooth team operations.
• Interpret engineering drawings with precision.
• Utilise and manage tool selection, work holding and inspection equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Fully conversant in Fanuc & Hurco programming.
• Experienced with cast iron & steel castings.
