Overview

CNC Programmer
Birmingham
£22.00 per hour
Mon - Thurs 08:0am - 16:00pm Fri 08:00am - 15:00pm

Flexi-hours are offered after probation!
Permanent Role

Currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer for a Manufacturing company based in Birmingham. This would suit a candidate with experience setting and programming various milling machines and experience with VISI CAD software.

Responsibilities

• For the role of CNC Programmer, you will be programming, setting and operating milling machines with Heidenhain and Siemens controls
• You will be offline programming using VISI CAD for the role of CNC Programmer.
• For the role of CNC Programmer, you will be selecting tooling and inspecting your own work, this will be a shop floor based role.

Requirements

• You will be an experienced programmer and have set and operated various 5 Axis Milling machines.
• Experience with VISI CAD or Powermill software is essential for the CNC Programmer role.
• For the role of CNC Programmer, you will have completed one off and small batch work and have worked to tight tolerances.
• You will have strong experience with inspecting your own work and selecting tooling.
