We are working with a client who provides advanced high‑precision manufacturing services from centre of excellence in the UK. They are seeking a CNC Operator to join their team at their Glasgow facility.

Overview

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision components to exact specifications. You will work to high quality standards and ensure production targets are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform quality checks and measurements to ensure components meet required tolerances
  • Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary to maintain accuracy and efficiency
  • Complete job cards and maintain accurate production records
  • Carry out routine maintenance and report equipment issues promptly
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve technical issues
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines (primarily milling)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good problem‑solving skills and proactive approach
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience in precision engineering is desirable but not essential
