Job summary

A major supplier to high-tech companies in the UK's Oxford/Cambridge region is seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience with multi axis CNC machining and a commitment to quality standards. This permanent, days-based role offers a competitive salary of £18 - £21 per hour, regular overtime, a company pension, and 28 days of holiday. Immediate starts are available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of Fanuc controls or similar.
• Experience of working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances.
• Thorough experience of reading & interpreting component drawings.

Responsibilities

• CNC Machining and setting
• Performing CMM inspection and production of inspection reports
• Using initiative to improve quality and throughput.

Skills

Experience of multi axis CNC Machining

Operation of 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines

Use of inspection tools and CMM

Programming

Education

Engineering apprenticeship

National Engineering Technical certificate

NVQ's or City and Guilds
