Responsibilities
  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
  • Creating and modifying CNC programs from engineering drawings
  • Setting up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces with precision
  • Monitoring machining operations to ensure quality and tight tolerances
  • Conducting first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and CMM
Experience / Qualifications
  • Proven CNC milling experience within the aerospace or defence sectors
  • Proficiency with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and CAD/CAM software (e.g. Fusion 360, EdgeCAM)
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
  • A methodical, problem-solving approach and commitment to continuous improvement
