CNC Miller | Poole | £15ph

Join a long-standing precision engineering business in Poole where your skills will be recognised and rewarded. With a 4-day working week and a clean, well-equipped factory, this is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller looking for stability and autonomy.

This CNC Miller role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their setups, and is confident using Fanuc and Hercos controls.

As CNC Miller, you will benefit from:
  • 4-day working week (Monday to Thursday – long weekends every week!)
  • Working hours: 7:15am–5:15pm
  • 20 days holiday, increasing up to 25 with length of service, plus bank holidays
  • Overtime available at enhanced rates
  • Clean, well‑organised factory with modern equipment
  • Autonomy over your own work and setups
  • Supportive team with strong engineering knowledge
  • Free on‑site parking
As CNC Miller, your responsibilities will include:
  • Operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc and Hercos controls
  • Producing precision components to engineering drawings
  • Inspecting your own work using measuring equipment
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Working independently to meet production targets
As CNC Miller, your experience will include:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision engineering environment
  • Confident using Fanuc and/or Hercous and/or Heidenheim controls- training provided
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Skilled in using measuring tools such as verniers and micrometres
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
