Position: CNC Miller
Location: Coventry
Salary: £18 – £21 per hour (DOE)

Job Overview

The successful candidate will join a growing engineering team in Coventry and be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Set up CNC milling machines, selecting tools, setting work offsets, and loading programs.
  • Operate 3‑axis and/or multi‑axis CNC mills to produce components to exact tolerances.
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation.
  • Adjust machine settings to optimize performance, surface finish, and cycle times.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller or Machinist in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Programming setting and operating experience.
  • Fanuc or Hurco controls experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Competence using precision measuring equipment.
  • Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Salary & Benefits
  • Permanent position.
  • Salary: £18 to £21 per hour (DOE).
  • Monday to Friday – 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Friday finish at 12:00 pm).
