Job Title: CNC Machinist

Salary: Up to £36,400 DOE
Location: Derby

Hours: Double Days: Week A: Mon - Thurs 6am - 2pm, Fri 6am - 1pm

Week B: Mon - Thurs 2pm - 10pm, Fri 9am - 4pm

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a leading engineering business supporting the aerospace and motorsport sectors. This is a fantastic chance to work on high-precision components where quality and accuracy are paramount.

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience operating Mazak machines (any model).
  • Skilled as a Miller, with strong knowledge of milling processes.
  • Background in aerospace or F1/motorsport, where tight tolerances and high standards are essential.
  • Experience working with Fanuc controls/software.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
  • Work to extremely tight tolerances, ensuring compliance with aerospace/motorsport standards.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and maintain best practices throughout production.
  • Perform quality checks and maintain high standards of workmanship.
