Job summary

A well-known sheet metal company in Coventry seeks an experienced Laser Operator to handle CNC flatbed laser cutting machines. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment and skills in interpreting engineering drawings. Responsibilities include operating machines, performing tasks from the Line Manager, and handling materials both manually and with equipment. The position is temporary to permanent, offering competitive hourly wages ranging from £9.50 to £11.00.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience loading/unloading and operating laser machines.
• Ability to operate automated CNC systems.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC flatbed laser cutting machines.
• Lift raw materials and products using MHE equipment.
• Perform tasks as directed by the Line Manager.
