Job summary

A prominent manufacturing company based in Worcester is seeking a CNC Grinding Programmer/Setter/Operator to set and operate Studer cylindrical and universal grinding machines. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of CNC controls, experience in a team-driven environment, and a positive, can-do attitude. This position offers a salary of up to £41,000 including shift allowance, with a focus on health and safety improvements in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • Understanding Fanuc CNC controls with the ability to program, edit, and improve existing and new parts.
  • Experience operating and setting CNC controls safely.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and operating Studer cylindrical/universal grinding machines.
  • Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts.
  • Working within a team of fellow engineers to strict health and safety guidelines.
  • Contributing to a positive workplace culture through health & safety improvements and kaizen initiatives.

Salary: Up to £41,000 including shift allowance
