Your main responsibility will be to create and run CMM programs ensuring high-precision aerospace components meet stringent quality standards. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CMM Technician to support the inspection of high-precision aerospace components. You will be responsible for creating and running CMM programs to ensure parts meet strict dimensional and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, validate, and operate CMM equipment using industry-standard metrology software.
  • Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections to AS9100 and customer requirements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T.
  • Produce accurate dimensional reports and maintain CMM calibration.
  • Support NPI inspection processes and assist with FAIRs.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven CMM programming experience within aerospace or precision engineering.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and complex engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
  • Experience with additional metrology tools and SPC/MSA.
  • Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
