Overview

Cluster Sales Manager, Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin, Birmingham. A fantastic opportunity to help maximize the revenue across the Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin properties. As Cluster Sales Manager you will drive the Hotels Sales and Marketing plan. Reporting into the General Managers and the National Sales Director you will ensure that both brands are represented whilst actively looking for new opportunities and cross selling all hotels within Mal / HdV. You will lead, support and develop the cluster sales executive to ensure optimal performance and achievement of business objectives. Additionally you will manage and lead the inquiry process, ensure the training and communication within the department and across the two hotels is implemented with maximum efficiency and develop strong relationships with guests within the hotels. You will be a self starter, organised and able to prioritize actions whilst managing tasks through to completion. It goes without saying that excellent communication skills in both verbal and oral are essential as is confidence in presenting to senior decision makers in other businesses. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial as would a working knowledge of the Hotel industry.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the Hotels Sales and Marketing plan and ensure representation of both Malmaison and Hotel Du Vin brands.
  • Lead, support and develop the cluster sales executive to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage and lead the inquiry process and coordinate training and communication within the department and across the two hotels.
  • Develop strong relationships with guests within the hotels and identify new opportunities, cross-selling across all hotels within the cluster.
  • Prioritize actions and manage tasks through to completion; communicate effectively with senior decision makers.
