The SAS Cloud and Information Services team is looking for a Technical Architect for the SAS Cloud team in SAS’s Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division. You will be responsible for all aspects of our data management systems in SAS Cloud.

You will be entering a new and biggest growth area in SAS global. You will have the chance to help shape how we work in the region while working for a variety of customers day‑to‑day.

The Technical Architect – Design Authority (DA) serves as the technical lead responsible for ensuring the integrity, alignment and quality of Application and Technical Architectures across cloud and managed service engagements. Acting as a strategic bridge between sales business development and technical execution the TDA defines and governs order‑to‑operation standards and ensures that all technical deliverables meet performance, security and compliance expectations.

As a Cloud Technical Architect you will:

• Analyze all information gathered during the sales cycle to provide technical requirements and work collaboratively with the delivery technical lead or delivery technical architect to translate sales technical vision into a detailed technical implementation proposal.
• Scope and define work effort supporting resource planning and estimate cost on technical aspects of the project. Conduct project requirements gathering.
• Deliver standard and/or customized software demonstrations and presentations outlining the technical features, competitive advantages and business benefits of the SAS software as they apply to client needs.
• Build a trusted relationship with the Account Executive and client account to provide practical guidance in the functional and technical aspects
