The role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Project Engineer to deliver professional services across Bristol and the South West, focusing on cloud transformation, cybersecurity, and infrastructure modernisation.

You’ll execute on project delivery from discovery and onboarding, through to handover, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant environments built on Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and modern networking technologies.

This is a field-based role, combining on-site client delivery with remote project work and collaboration within the central engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality professional services projects across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and networking platforms.
  • Plan and execute server and infrastructure migrations, upgrades, and decommissions (on-prem → Azure).
  • Lead site moves, rebrands, and infrastructure transitions in collaboration with project managers and clients.
  • Work with our chief information officer to develop scopes of work, and implementation plans.
  • Produce clear handover, as-built, and support documentation for clients and internal teams.
  • Ensure all solutions are implemented in line with Cyber Essentials Plus and other relevant security frameworks.
  • Support post-deployment validation, client training, and transition to support services.
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years’ experience delivering Microsoft 365 and Azure projects within an MSP or professional services environment.
  • Strong capability with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Teams Phone.
  • Proven ability to deploy and manage Intune (device compliance, app deployment, Hybrid Join, and Autopilot).
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Business and Defender for Office 365.
  • Knowledge with WatchGuard or similar NGFW platforms; firewall, VPN, and SSL configuration.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, wireless).
  • Familiar with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure IaaS environments.
  • Able to manage client relationships and expectations.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout Bristol and the South West.
