The Role

As a Cloud Engineer you will be at the forefront of enabling secure scalable and mission-critical cloud capabilities working collaboratively to design deploy and automate solutions.

Day-to-day you willhelp deliver next-generation services across complex operational environments building and configuring cloud services.

Your responsibilities will include :
  • Designing implementing and maintaining secure scalable cloud-based solutions across public private and hybrid environments
  • Developing and maintaining infrastructure as Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or ARM templates
  • Automating deployment pipelines and CI / CD workflows improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention
  • Collaborating closely with other teams to enable smooth application deployments documenting the designs
  • Monitoring cloud environments for performance availability cost optimisation and security compliance
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and internal governance standards
Essential experience of the Cloud Engineer
  • Previous experience in designing deploying and managing solutions in AWS
  • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Practical knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and tools
  • Previous experience with containers and orchestration such as Kubernetes
  • The ability to produce strong documentation and speak with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This role is 37 hours per week based at either Malvern or Farnborough. Hybrid working patterns available.
