Overview

NXTGEN is delighted to be working exclusively with an ambitious new start-up firm in Norwich to recruit a Cloud Accountant. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join a successful business owner at an early stage of growth, where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality bookkeeping services and supporting clients across a variety of sectors, but particularly those in Hospitality (ie, Cocktail Bars/Restaurants etc). You'll take on full responsibility for the day-to-day duties, allowing the owner to focus on driving growth and business development.

You'll have the freedom to work fully remotely while being local to Norwich, enabling you to support clients as needed and become a trusted extension of their business. Responsibilities
  • Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Xero
  • Support with Month End processes and reconciliations
  • Prepare and process Payroll accurately and on time
  • Liaise with clients to resolve finance queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Support the business owner in developing streamlined finance processes as the business grows
  • Provide additional finance and reporting support to clients as the firm expands its services
Qualifications
  • Strong experience in bookkeeping, with proven ability to handle Month End processes
  • Xero specialist with confidence in using the platform for bookkeeping and reporting
  • Experience in Payroll is essential
  • Background in practice or industry, ideally with hospitality experience or exposure to hospitality clients
  • Enthusiastic about being part of a growing business, with the adaptability to support in a dynamic environment
