Job description

Our client, a leading Hedge Fund, is looking for an Analyst with 3-4 years’ of relevant experience to join their growing team and cover ~40 CLO credits in their portfolio. There may also be small scope to cover H/F names if deemed necessary. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates interested in working in a new growing platform. Leveraged Finance and/or current buy-side credit analysis experience required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide generalist quantitative analytical and research support to Senior Credit Analysts, analysing the underlying credit of portfolios.
  2. Produce financial models and assist with due diligence reviews for potential investments.
  3. Produce and present credit papers to credit committee.
  4. Monitor a number of investments within the existing portfolio across both primary and secondary opportunities.
  5. Assist with the process of trading investments within the existing portfolio.
  6. Assist with any other related ad hoc tasks to support the credit function and processes of the team.

Candidate Profile:

  1. 3 – 4 years’ experience in buy-side credit analysis / leveraged finance analysis etc.
  2. Proven ability to make investment recommendations on primary and secondary trades.
  3. Fluency in an additional language is a plus.
  4. Excellent academic record [Graduate from a leading university in Economics, Finance etc.].
