A national healthcare service in the UK is searching for a psychiatrist to manage a caseload of health professionals with mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will work 16 hours a week, focusing on assessments, triage, and providing holistic support within a multidisciplinary team. Experience managing addictions is beneficial. The position includes participation in virtual interviews for shortlisted candidates.
We are currently looking to expand our clinical workforce. We are seeking applications from psychiatrists with an interest in managing healthcare professionals and/or with experience of managing addictions. We are asking for a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week. As a key member of the NHS Practitioner Health (PH) team, you will provide care to PH patients, participating as a core team member carrying out triage for new contacts and referrals, assessments of new patients, ongoing case management and liaison with other providers who might be involved in the care of the patients. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of sick health professionals, assessing risk and providing holistic support to manage their programme of care. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes GPs, psychiatrists, specialist nurses, and therapists.
