A leading research university is seeking an individual to support the delivery of clinical trials focused on cardiovascular disease prevention. The role involves providing technical support and collaborating with research teams. Candidates should possess an honours degree in a relevant field and have effective organizational skills. The primary role of this post will be to help deliver clinical trials and other scientific research under the supervision of the senior research fellow and the centre lead, and in collaboration with the rest of the clinical trials team, to realise the objectives of various research programmes on cardiovascular disease prevention.
To provide technical support for clinical trials and other scientific research under the supervision of the senior research fellow and the centre lead and in collaboration with the rest of the clinical trials team, in order to realise the objectives of various research programmes on cardiovascular disease prevention.
You hold an honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area; you have an aptitude for experimental work under laboratory and field conditions. You have an ability to understand concepts in pharmacology and physiology. You have excellent organisational skills with an ability to allow operator-dependent methods such as arterial tonometry, pulse wave analysis and/or spirometry testing.
The post holder will support the activities of the Centre, which is frequently a top recruiter to studies bringing new treatments or devices to our rewarding & highly diverse groups of.
