Clinical Trials Coordinator (Band 4-5 development role) within Research and Innovation (R&I) at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) to support research across all MFT hospitals. The post forms part of the Collaborative Team supporting a range of specialties including Burns & Plastics, Trauma & Orthopaedics, Audiology, ENT, Head & Neck, Ageing & Dementias, Dermatology, Neurology, Colorectal, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Hepatobiliary, and Maxillofacial. The post is offered as a Band 4-5 developmental role, with progression to Band 5 after competency assessment within the first 6–12 months and mentorship provided.
The role involves flexible and adaptable support for study set up and coordination, working with investigators, the Trust Research Office, clinical colleagues, service support departments, and external pharmaceutical companies.
