A healthcare organization in St Leonards seeks passionate Health Care Assistants for their Complex Care Frailty ward, providing care for elderly patients. Key responsibilities include performing delegated clinical procedures, undertaking physiological observations, and providing personal care. Candidates should have at least GCSEs in English and Maths, alongside a Care Certificate or NVQ2 in health and social care. MacDonald Ward is an acute 28 bedded Complex Care Frailty ward caring for elderly patients. The team is friendly and supportive, with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care. We are looking for highly motivated, dynamic and passionate Health Care Assistants.
Successful applicants must complete an induction course, which will include all Trust statutory and mandatory training. We provide a supportive atmosphere, mentorship, clinical supervision and are committed to professional development.
You will work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team, using your own initiative and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Team working is integral to this unit, with all staff empowered to make a real difference for patients.
