The inpatient orthopaedic physiotherapy team is looking for a Clinical Specialist to lead, showcase and develop the current service to respond to the ever changing service need. The team provides high quality, evidence-based care across elective, trauma and our dedicated hip fracture ward. You will also have the opportunity to provide an orthopaedic physiotherapy service to paediatric cases.
The core orthopaedic service is based at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, with elective day surgery at Queen Margaret in Dunfermline. Both locations are commutable from Lothian, Forth Valley, Dundee and Perth and car share amongst colleagues is often available.
We offer development opportunities in-house such as clinic and theatre visits, peer review and clinical supervision/teaching. NHS Fife will consider flexible working requests and can provide funding for external courses. You will receive regular appraisal and PDP meetings and have access to peer group and management support.
