Job Summary

The Clinical Services Care Coordinator will support the Clinical Services Team in delivering high‑quality patient care through efficient administrative systems, including GMC and non‑GMC work, QOF, Enhanced Services and related contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for GMS and non‑GMS work, including QOF, Enhanced Services, AQP Contracts, and other schemes.
  • Coordinate with the clinical team, practice staff, contractors and third parties.
  • Utilise IT and software (EMIS, Ardens, iPlato) to manage the practice population and conduct chronic disease monitoring, audits and reporting.
  • Assist with mail merges, text messaging campaigns, chronic disease management, vaccinations and health promotion.
  • Support the Coding Team with document filing and basic coding.
  • Attend internal and external meetings, keeping up to date with mandatory training, role‑specific courses and organisational policies.
  • Troubleshoot day‑to‑day IT, systems and workload issues.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
Qualifications
  • Good standard of education with literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience or familiarity with GP Contracts, QOF, Enhanced Services, EMIS Web, DART, Docman, Health Options, Ardens and iPlato.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and time‑management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Flexible, adaptable and a good team player, capable of stepping in to support other team members.
  • Up to date with mandatory and role‑specific training.
  • Track record of administrative experience in general practice.
