A well-established NHS GP practice in Witney is seeking a Clinical Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient-centered care and support primary care research. The Clinical Physician Assistant (PA) will work as part of the general practice multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality, patient‑centred clinical care under the supervision of a named GP. The role includes assessment and management of patients presenting with a wide range of acute, chronic, and preventative healthcare needs.
In addition, the post holder will actively support primary care‑based research and quality improvement projects, including patient identification and recruitment, data collection, and study delivery, contributing to the practice’s research portfolio and evidence‑based service development.
Eynsham Medical Group is a well‑established NHS GP practice serving around 15,000‑16,000 patients from two sites: Eynsham Medical Centre and Long Hanborough Surgery in West Oxfordshire. It provides a comprehensive range of primary care services, including acute and chronic disease management, preventive care, vaccinations, and access to both face‑to‑face and online consultations.
The practice caters to a diverse patient population, including a significant proportion of older adults. Facilities at both sites are accessible and designed to support patient needs. The practice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission and has previously been rated Good overall, recognising safe, compassionate, and patient‑centred care.
