Summary:

As a Clinical Pharmacist with NHS Jobs, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering safe, effective, and efficient clinical pharmacy and medicines management services.

Key responsibilities include:

Deputising for the Pharmacist Advanced, supervising a team to ensure high standards of pharmacy services.

Providing medicines management and reconciliation services.

Developing and implementing local policies on prescribing practices.

Serving as a point of contact for nursing and clinical staff regarding medication management.

Offering medicines information and conducting new drug reviews.

Engaging in clinical effectiveness activities such as drug use review and clinical audits.

Supporting service changes and new treatments implementation.

Acting as a professional checker in dispensary and/or chemotherapy services.
