Overview

An exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist with the Lung Cancer Team at Queens Hospital Burton. This is a 12 month fixed term contract/secondment. You will work with and be supported by an established Lung CNS team and a dedicated lung cancer MDT.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advice, social and emotional support and information to patients and their loved ones throughout their pathway.
  • Follow patients through diagnostics, treatment and palliative care.
  • Support a new cancer screening service, providing faster assessment of patients referred with suspected lung cancer to Queens Hospital Burton.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • Experience of working within respiratory or oncology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
