Clinical Nurse Manager - Fixed Term Full-Time – Parental Leave Cover, Leadership Opportunity

The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) to join our team at our Madeley site on a Fixed Term Full-Time basis to cover Parental Leave until October 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate nursing leader to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Brightwater Madeley has 110 private rooms that span across six interlinking houses. There is also an onsite café.

As CNM, you will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the highest standards of clinical care, aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Brightwater’s Clinical Governance Framework. You will lead and support a multidisciplinary team, promoting holistic, client‑focused care that reflects our mission and values.

About You
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse (preferably in Residential Aged Care)
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills
  • Demonstrated experience and deep understanding of the lived experiences of people with dementia and their families. Proven leadership capabilities and a passion for mentoring others
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Understanding of clinical audits and continuous improvement processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with aged care standards and sector requirements
  • Experience in recruitment and staff performance management
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and participate in an on‑call roster
  • Current WA Driver’s Licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last 12 months)
