Job description
The Role:

The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator is to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education programs in the clinical setting/ward/unit.

Ward 5D LGH:
  • Ward 5D is a 32 bed General Medicine Ward specialising in Haematology and Oncology Care and the delivery of inpatient cancer therapies.
  • In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) undertakes Nursing assessments, contributes to planning and coordinates the delivery of services of admitted patients to Ward 5D.
  • Actively incorporates teaching, practice-based research, and quality activities within the role to improve standards of care.

Details of appointments:
  • Permanent part time, day worker position, working 12 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team.
  • Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team until 1 February 2027.

Salary:

$118,297 to $125,543 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type.
Salary Packaging:
