Job summary

A leading NHS organization in London is seeking a Principal Clinical Psychologist to serve as Clinical Lead for the Greenwich CAMHS Mental Health Support Team. The role involves managing mental health services and supporting a diverse team to improve the mental wellbeing of children and young people. Candidates must have Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology and experience within Child and Adolescent Mental Health settings. The position offers a salary range of £70,396 to £80,837 per annum, pro rata.

Qualifications

  • Post-graduate Doctoral level training and qualification in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Professional registration with HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist is essential.
  • Experience working within CAMHS or equivalent, focusing on school settings is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team to provide mental health and wellbeing services to children and families.
  • Liaise with partner agencies and contribute to local and National MHST initiatives.
  • Provide clinical supervision and lead on quality improvement projects.
