Job Description

A permanent Deputy Home Manager post has become available in a luxury nursing home in Olney that specialises in elderly care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Manager in planning and implementing the highest quality of nursing care for the home's frail elderly residents, including those with dementia.
  • Manage and motivate a team of nurses and carers to ensure the smooth running of the home.
  • Maintain and uphold the home's reputation as a recognised centre of excellence.
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals and members of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Contribute to inductions and orientations of new care staff.
  • Undertake administrative duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills
  • You must be a qualified nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) and be registered with the NMC.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on nursing experience.
  • Passion for elderly and dementia care.
