This post requires specialist technical knowledge and experience to support and maintain the development of clinical reports and reporting systems, which meet the requirements of the organisation.
Representation of the team, the department, directorate and the Trust at internal and external meetings, ensuring that strategic projects and processes are conducted with due consideration to clinical data, research and audit, and ensuring that strategic decisions with a bearing on the department are communicated appropriately.
Provide feedback to Medical Directorate Managers, other Senior Managers and Directors, identifying issues which affect the use and performance of the Business Intelligence system.
To work closely with the Clinical Information & Records and Research and Audit Teams to manage the flow of clinical data from the patient to the end user, and support the local and national reporting requirements of the Trust. This will include:

The Clinical Information and Records Team are responsible for the management of clinical information, clinical systems development and clinical reporting throughout SWASFT.
We are a small, but busy group of information professionals who are responsible for all clinical system development and reporting within the South Western Ambulance Service.
