Clinical Governance Administration Support

Are you passionate about improving patient safety and driving best clinical practice? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Governance Team, providing essential support to clinical teams across the organisation.

As a member of the Clinical Governance Administration Support team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care by supporting governance processes, managing sensitive correspondence, and ensuring that all documentation is handled with discretion and professionalism. You'll be part of a proactive, forward-thinking team that works collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and clinical excellence.

Main duties of the job

To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Clinical Governance Team ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times.

The post holder will be required to operate efficiently and effectively, providing proactive administrative support to the Clinical Governance Team and smoothly coordinate day-to-day secretarial arrangements for the Clinical Governance LeadNurse.

The post holder will be a first point of contact for the Clinical Governance Team and screen incoming calls from other Health Board staff, members of the public and external departments or agencies, responding in a tactful and courteous manner, prioritising the issues, making decisions concerning appropriate information disclosure and adhering to timescales.

The post holder will work closely with the Clinical Governance Team to ensure incoming calls are correctly triaged and directed on appropriately to provide a high quality response.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
