Job summary

A leading NHS Trust in England is seeking a Clinical Fellow to manage the in-patient service and ensure continuity of medical care. Role Overview

The Clinical Fellow is encouraged to play an active role in all aspects of the assessment and management of patients. The particular role, of the Clinical Fellow, is to provide continuity of medical care, day to day management of the in-patient service, report preparation and close liaison with the Centre's friendly inter-disciplinary team. The post holder will have close working relationships with the acute neurosciences services.

Responsibilities

The Centre is a highly reputable, busy 52 bed unit offering brain injury rehabilitation for adolescent and adult patients, including patients with complex acquired neurological injuries and may include patients with a tracheostomy or challenging behaviours.

Job Details

This is a full time appointment for 30 hours per week, with the need for occasional flexibility. There is no on-call commitment.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold full registration with the GMC. In addition, experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices or equivalent is essential.
